What you write: One short essay, up to 500 words.
Your “Why Redlands?”
Up to 500 words
Everyone on campus – students, staff, faculty – has their “Why Redlands?” and the reason they joined the Bulldog community. What’s your “Why Redlands?”?
How to approach it
- Name things you could only find at this college: a class, a professor, a program, a tradition.
- Tie every detail to something true about you.
- Swap test: if another college’s name fits your sentence, it’s too general.
