No AI on this essay
Cornerstone says essays may be screened for AI and that using generative AI in an admissions essay can lead to denial. That includes AI feedback, so our free review is turned off for these questions.
Your faith journey
In a short personal statement, please describe your own Christian faith journey. We encourage you to share specific details, such as youth group experience, worship leadership positions you’ve held, number of years you’ve been a member of your church, etc. to provide a meaningful answer to this question. You are also encouraged to include any applicable Scripture references and include some particular ways that you hope to influence your world for Christ as a Cornerstone University graduate.
How to approach it
- Pick one moment and stay there. Readers remember a scene, not a summary.
- Spend at least a third of the essay on what you thought and how you changed.
- Read it out loud. If a line doesn’t sound like you, it isn’t done yet.
