Pathways (summer program)
Program · Girls Who Code · Online
Free virtual summer program (it replaced the Summer Immersion Program) with tracks like web development, data science and AI, game design and cybersecurity, for high school girls and nonbinary students.
Our take
A good free start if you have not coded before. Common enough that the value is what you build next, not the line itself.
“Helps an application” is our read on how much an admissions reader is likely to weigh it: Strong means getting in or placing is a real achievement, Solid means it shows real interest and effort, and Light usually means most students who apply and pay can attend. It’s our opinion, not a ranking from any college, and a light one can still be a great summer.
